Jamie is the principal and design director at Krate, a web development and digital design studio founded in 2004. He has led development and design projects for clients including Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art and Planning, American Folk Art Museum, Helen Keller International, Foundation for Self-Taught Artists, Atlas Books, Kikkerland Design, United Way, Gryson, and Redux Reps.

Prior to founding Krate, Jamie cut his teeth in publishing, later moving on to Donovan and Green, an award-winning design, branding, and architecture firm, and eventually to the internet consultancy, marchFIRST.

Jamie is a member of AIGA and Spark. In the off hours you can find him roaming the backwoods and roads of the Catskills on skis, snowshoes or a rusty old motorcycle.
