Born and raised in Queens, Jason first developed web applications for the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Company using PHP and HTML. At Generational Art Productions (GenArt) he added JavaScript, CSS, MovableType, and both Windows and Linux server management and administration to his repertoire. Today, at Krate, Jason develops custom PHP frameworks and content management systems along with coding  in ColdFusion and Python. He couples these skills with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, which enable him to creatively manipulate and display data.

He holds a holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Queens College and has attended conferences like EG: The Entertainment Gathering, Secret Science Club, and Google Analytics developer training.

Jason’s a firm believer in mind over matter. The biggest steak he’s eaten was 36oz. and he still wasn’t full. He’d like to travel to Space someday, but until that’s an option he’ll settle for a trip to Japan.
